Veberöd - Storage and Display. This industrial storage and display piece features a robust metal frame showcasing visible welds, and includes shelves and drawers crafted from plywood.

Two versions, one lower with a seat and one higher with a big display shelf. Designed and launched at the same time as Ekebol sofa and Dihult Floor pillow.

The question we had with this product was if the customers would accept the welds and that every product is not the same. It was kind of test for Ikea to put this out on the market. The product found a dedicated fan club and lived on for a long time, but eventually the price point was harder to keep and the product was taken off production. I am very proud of what we did, It is a sturdy shelf with "real" materials, plywood and steel.
