VaseHook

Its a vase hook, a hook and a vase. Designed for Sothern Sweden Design Days 2025 and the exhibition "Hook Me Up". The premise of the exhibition is to design a hook and exhibit it, It is also about connecting with clients and to get hooked up.

The exhibition is hosted by Streck Office in Malmö.

I wanted to do something fun and straight forward. A hook can be so complicated, cause its so simple in its function. I felt challenged to do something very technical and smart, but decided to take the opposite direction. There is something refreshing with a almost comical multifunctional object. And in the end it actually turned out to be a very decorative and functional object. Who would have thought.

Prototype is 3D printed, but the intended material is metal or ceramics. Not fully decided yet. Any thoughts on the development is much appreciated. Slip casting ? Die casting ? Bending and welding ?

The vase hook comes in two parts, first a bracket is mounted to the wall, and then you slide in the vase hook with a click. Easy to change water.
